Rabbit, rabbit! Hopefully that brings you luck…

Lately, the studio has been hopping with rabbit drawings. We live on 40 acres, and rabbits were everywhere over the warmer months—driving the dog bananas. These are some of the rabbit pieces I’ve been working on recently. The last piece in the series was a commissioned illustration of a jackrabbit, rather than our usual local eastern cottontails. All of these pieces are grpahite on a wooden cradle, finished with encaustic (a mixture of beeswax and shellac, a natural resin) Right now they are only available at GinnyLou’s in Downtown Marshall, NC or through commission.
