Alex brings three decades of experience helping clients communicate complex medical and scientific concepts with clarity and focus. Her work centers on developing clear, concise mechanism-of-action and editorial illustrations that translate detailed information into visuals that support understanding and informed decision-making.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, with concentrations in Scientific Illustration and Zoology, from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Science in Medical Illustration from the Medical College of Georgia. Her professional background spans veterinary medicine, ecological research, medical-legal illustration, and academic teaching—providing a broad perspective that informs each project.
Alex approaches every assignment as a visual problem to be solved. Working closely with clients, she looks beyond familiar approaches to develop illustrations that are accurate, purposeful, and thoughtfully designed—images that clarify complex ideas while offering a fresh and effective visual solution.
