I was contacted by Haymarket media through my agency to create a medical illustration about managing adverse effects after lymph node dissection. Many breast cancer survivors experience lymphedema in their arm on the side where lymph nodes have been removed. This article explored techniques for measuring swelling - specifically the sensitivity of bioimpedance spectroscopy as compared to a tape measure. Early detection leads to better outcomes.
